yes bigblock, lotsa slow shops.i think that this recession business is starting take hold in the real world.several real estate signs around here now have a "power of sale" tag on them.repo's being dropped off at our small dealership.these folk aren't likely to spend a whole lot of change on their car.
the worst part is that it is tough to keep afloat just doing oil changes.i can find work to be done on some cars, but alot of it is declined, can't get blood out of a stone.my buddy at a local tire shop said that he has never sold so many used tires as in the last year, folks just trying to get by.or they spent all their money at future shop, priorities, huh?
i've been in and out of this trade for 30 odd years, the last 20 in a row,and one thing has never changed, when times get tough, the car is the last priority.they hate like hell to see us make a nickle.
maybe maintainance isn't so bad,lol.
