Is anyone using Ranger tire changers, balancers or bendpak lifts? If so can you give any feedback? In rural New Brunswick, service for any equiptment is a problem so I'm looking for something other than JBC,Coates,Hunter,Dover etc.

I had bendpak 7000 and 9000 lbs lifts in southern california and loved them all. there easy to maintain and work flawlessly. i reccomend them. after using everyhing over the years from billy bob brands to snap-on lifts i still feel the bendpak are the best for the money
hope this helps

I purchased Ranger Tire Balancer and Tire Changer as a low cost option because I'm a low volumn tire seller. Worst decision I have ever made. Balance 35 sets of tires and Board went out on balancer. $1000.00 later it's up and running and I get 29 more sets of tires balanced before board goes again. No warranty on the board and no original warranty because it was over the one year. Tire changer has leaked air from a plastic tank since it was new. I phoned Ranger and asked what to do-reply- Torque it tighter;to what torque I ask-tighter is reply. Remember this is a plastic tank. One arm on turn table breaks and I have to have it welded.

Buy a reconditioned Coates or Hunter before you waste your hard earned dollars on any ranger junk. I got rid of the shiny new Balancer (junkyard) and purchased a 10 year old Hunter balancer that came out of a Kal tire store. I have balanced twice as many tires that the Ranger did with no problems.

BTW if you think it would be hard to get service for Coates, JBC, Hunter or Rotary wait until you try and get service (and you will need it) for Ranger or Bendpak .

I agree with Bill on the ranger stuff..you would be better off with Chinese stuff from alibaba.com

The ranger stuff is princess auto quality..ok for a hobby shop

And yah think Mr Thines may be a plant for Bend pack????something about about his praise smells to me....I can't speak for bendpack but I would sure do a bit more research afore I let my money leave my account for any of those pieces of equipment..Forwarned is fore-armed and.......... limits foreplay...........
