New Wagner ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT brake pads from Federal-Mogul are now available for three additional popular late-model applications. Federal-Mogul also has also expanded its line of ThermoQuiet semi-metallic brake pads and parking-brake shoes.

Now available through leading replacement parts distributors are new ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT front pad sets for 2012 BMW 128i and Honda Ridgeline models and 2011 Infiniti QX56 models, each of which was originally equipped with ceramic formulations.

Wagner ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT brake pads feature highly advanced, proprietary ceramic formulations. These formulations feature Federal-Mogul’s exclusive Dynamic Noise Absorption technology – integrated into the pad to target and absorb vibration at the point of contact for quieter braking – and thermal-sensitive properties that adapt to the wide range of temperatures encountered during everyday driving conditions to help ensure superior stopping performance.

“ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT pads provide the latest in ceramic technology, ensuring that shop owners, technicians and their customers have the superior performance required to meet the increased braking demands of today’s vehicles,” said Wagner Brake product manager Walt Keating.

Available for most vehicles that were originally equipped with ceramic technology and as an alternative for many semi-metallic-equipped applications, new ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT brake pads also feature Federal-Mogul’s award-winning Integrally Molded Insulator one-piece brake pad design and Laser-Shaped Friction technology.

In addition to expanded ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT coverage, Federal-Mogul has introduced Wagner ThermoQuiet semi-metallic front disc brake pad sets for 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman and 2008-2010 Porsche Cayenne models and rear sets for 2007-2010 Land Rover LR2 models. The company now also offers ThermoQuiet parking-brake shoes for 2008 Land Rover LR2, 2007-2008 Hyundai Entourage and Kia Sedona, and 2011 Mazda 2 models.
