Rob Ward has joined the Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre as business manager of technical development.

He will head up a new division within AAEC, conducting on-site visits with AAEC clients, and ensuring that the AAEC’s technical staff understands modern automotive business processes.

AAEC president and CEO Bob Greenwood says Ward has much to offer in this role, having worked in the automotive industry since 1993. He holds an Interprovincial Red Seal, an ASE Certification and CFC Certification. In addition to specializing in automotive diagnostics and software packages, he is an advanced diagnostics specialist that has been trained in OEM and aftermarket software and scanners in Canada and the United States.

He has acquired service management experience at the Independent level as well as from large national companies.

Ward will be based out of Halifax but will be working with the AAEC’s Business Evaluation Support and Training (BEST) clients across Canada and their technicians.
